The East Henderson Eagles posted their biggest victory since December 1, 2023 on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 61-36 margin over North Henderson. For East Henderson, this counts as revenge for the 61-25 loss North Henderson walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
East Henderson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Madison McCall, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and four steals. McCall also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Foushee, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Amy Rhymer and Dulce Geronimo certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Rhymer scored 19 points, while Geronimo scored nine points.
East Henderson's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for North Henderson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-13.
East Henderson will head out on the road to face off against Pisgah at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Pisgah's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while East Henderson has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road. North Henderson will take on Hendersonville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
