Weaver and Cleburne County are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Bearcats will welcome the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Weaver has three straight wins, Cleburne County has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Weaver came out on top against Saks on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run second inning. The Bearcats were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Wildcats.

Stanford is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Ariel Sargent was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Cleburne County took on White Plains on Tuesday. The Tigers lost 10-1 to the Wildcats.
Cleburne County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kourtnie Alred, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double. Lola Shelton also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Cleburne County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Weaver, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Weaver hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .380. However, it's not like Cleburne County struggles in that department as they've averaged .352. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
