Eli Babler gave up the fewest hits he has since back in April on Tuesday. He was unstoppable, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He is becoming a predictor of St. Croix Central's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 5-1 (and 4-5 when he doesn't).

Babler's strong effort led St. Croix Central over Amery and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers are 8-1 against the Warriors going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
