Despite the loss, Key West still got an impressive performance from Tramane Scott, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kameron Roberts, who scored 12 points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Key West bumped their record down to 7-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Key West's road trip will continue as they head out to face iMater Charter at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd.
