The Covert Bulldogs lost against the Michigan Lutheran Titans back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Covert had to suffer through a rough 70-41 loss at the hands of Michigan Lutheran. Covert has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Zac Lockman was a one-man wrecking crew for Michigan Lutheran as he scored 13 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Ty Johnson, who scored 17 points along with five steals.
Covert has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Michigan Lutheran, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Covert has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Our Lady of the Lake Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on February 12th.
