They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bay Springs Bulldogs  and snuck past  16-14. The  victory was nothing new for West Lincoln as they're now sitting on four straight.
  Whitney Grace Whittington spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned  (and eight unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Ryleigh Purdy, who  went 4-for-5 with three  stolen bases, four  runs,  and four  RBI.  Kaylee Wallace was another key contributor,  scoring four  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-5.
 West Lincoln has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record  this season. As for Bay Springs, they have  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost seven of their last nine matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record  this season.
 West Lincoln will head out on the road to  face off against  Pisgah at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Pisgah is coming into the  contest with six straight  wins at home,  so West Lincoln will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum. Bay Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
