Luther Prep came tearing into Friday's contest with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the St. Francis Mariners by a score of 2-0. The Phoenix have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mariners, too.

Emma Neyhart paced Luther Prep's offense, picking up five kills. Neyhart got some help from Lorelei Candler and her ten assists. Maya Spiegelberg and Hannah Fitzsimmons kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Luther Prep's win bumped their record up to 30-3. As for St. Francis, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-22.

Luther Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Racine Lutheran on the 23rd. As for St. Francis, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Whitnall on the 21st.
