AMARILLO, Texas -
Amarillo (Texas) took the final lead of the game on Saturday as
Cole Sanchez ran for a touchdown with less than a minute remaining, bringing the team to victory over
Randall (Amarillo, Texas) 35-28.
The teams went into the locker room at halftime deadlocked at 14. The Sandies took the lead for good on a touchdown run by Sanchez in the fifth quarter.

Tyler Junell played well. The senior running back ran for two touchdowns.
Josh Woods played well for Amarillo in the victory. The senior running back ran for one touchdown.
Randall came in allowing just 16.3 points per game this season.
The loss comes after Randall defeated Palo Duro 27-23 last week. With the win AHS extended its winning streak to three games.
Amarillo (6-2) will play a 4A Region I District 3 game against Canyon next week, while Randall (7-1) will take on Dumas also in a 4A Region I District 3 game.
