The Box Elder Bees and the Bountiful RedHawks squared off in some playoff action  on Tuesday, but sadly the Box Elder Bees had to settle for second. They took a  61-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the RedHawks. Box Elder's loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.
 Loss or not, Box Elder got some senior leadership from  Ashlyn Wight and  Madi Thurgood.  Wight  scored 20 points, while  Thurgood.  scored 15 points along with two  steals. Thurgood is crushing the  steal category: she's  posted at least two every time she's  taken the court this season.  Kaydence Barber was another key contributor,  scoring four points along with six  steals.
 Box Elder  struggled to get the ball back on offense and  finished the game with only four  offensive rebounds. They  were crushed by their opponents in that department as Bountiful  pulled down 13  offensive rebounds.
 Bountiful was led to victory by  Milika Satuala and  Taylor Harvey.  Satuala  dropped  a double-double on 17 points and 11  rebounds, while  Harvey  scored 30 points along with seven  rebounds and five  blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Harvey has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Charlotte Johnson, who  scored four points.
 Box Elder's defeat dropped their record down to 20-6. As for Bountiful, the  victory was  the 19th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-3.
 Box Elder does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bountiful is on the road again  on Friday and plays Wasatch at 11:00  a.m.  on March 1st. Bountiful has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 320 points over their last five contests.
