Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Peter Robjent and Vann Morrelli Lead Keene Central to Victory

Keene Central had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 59-41 win over the Indian Lake Central Indians. That 18 point margin sets a new team best for the Beavers this season.

Keene Central was led to victory by Vann Morrelli and Peter Robjent. Morrelli dropped a double-double on 17 points and 20 boards, while Robjent went 10 of 19 on his way to 25 points along with six steals and five assists. Robjent's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Harmer, who posted eight points.

Keene Central's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Indian Lake Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
