The Warren County Screaming Devils will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Aquinas Fightin' Irish at 6:30 p.m. Warren County will be looking to keep their 13-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Warren County can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They really took it to Washington-Wilkes for the full four quarters, racking up a 67-39 win on the road. With Warren County ahead 41-14 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Warren County found their leader in underclassman Courtney Bray, who scored 31 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bray has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jailee Allen, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Meanwhile, Aquinas had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They slipped by Lincoln County 38-37 on Saturday. The win was just what Aquinas needed coming off of a 67-43 loss in their prior match.
Warren County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Aquinas, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-13.
Warren County was able to grind out a solid win over the Fightin' Irish when the teams last played back in January, winning 51-44. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Aquinas' Emma Kate Noegel, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds.
