Alisal hadn't done well against Everett Alvarez recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Alisal Trojans put the hurt on the Everett Alvarez Eagles with a sharp 70-50 victory. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Alisal has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points over those games. As for Everett Alvarez, they dropped their record down to 6-17 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Alisal will square off against Oakwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Alisal knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Oakwood likes a good challenge.
