After two games on the road, Haworth is heading back home. They will take on the Antlers Bearcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Haworth knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully the Bearcats like a good challenge.
Haworth pushed their score all the way to 56 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were the victim of a tough 79-56 loss at the hands of Valliant. Haworth has struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Antlers had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Tushka on Monday and snuck past 54-51. The win was just what Antlers needed coming off of a 73-38 loss in their prior match.
Haworth's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Antlers, their victory bumped their record up to 7-12.
Everything went Haworth's way against the Bearcats when the teams last played back in January as the Lions made off with a 57-34 victory. Does Haworth have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bearcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
