The Lee-Scott Academy Warriors and the Glenwood Gators squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Lee-Scott Academy Warriors had to settle for second. They took a 45-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gators. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lee-Scott Academy of the 42-36 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Friday.
Lee-Scott Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ellie Keesee, who scored eight points. Mary kathryn Harris was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Lee-Scott Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Glenwood, the win was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 28-5.
Lee-Scott Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Glenwood also has no future games currently scheduled.
