After two games on the road, Governor Mifflin is heading back home. They will take on The Warwick Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Governor Mifflin is ranked 197th, while Warwick is ranked 182nd).
Governor Mifflin fell victim to Manheim Central's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were dealt a 42-0 loss at the hands of the Barons. Having soared to a lofty 45 points in the game before, Governor Mifflin couldn't push the score so high this time.
Warwick fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They claimed a resounding 53-6 victory over Lebanon at home.
Governor Mifflin now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Warwick, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.
Governor Mifflin ended up a good deal behind Warwick in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, losing 25-7. Will Governor Mifflin have more luck at home instead of on the road?
