Jacksonville has gone a perfect 10-0 against White Oak recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Jacksonville Cardinals will host the White Oak Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Jacksonville took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Everything went their way against West Craven as Jacksonville made off with a 12-2 win. With that victory, the Cardinals brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.
Jace Brindel and Carter Moore dominated on the mound. Brindel tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits, while Moore struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). What's more, Brindel gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2024.

At the plate, Vasco Sutton was incredible, scoring three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Houston, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
Meanwhile, White Oak came into Monday's contest having lost 16 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Southwest Onslow by a score of 11-7 on Monday.
Gavin Ramson and Isaac Baxter made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Ramson tossed two innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs but no hits. Meanwhile, Baxter pitched five innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. At bat, Ramson scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Baxter scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Skylar Olivieri, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Nathan Butts, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
The win got White Oak back to even at 1-1. As for Jacksonville, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Jacksonville took their win against White Oak in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-7. Will Jacksonville repeat their success, or does White Oak have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
