It took a quarter to shake off the cobwebs, but after zero first-quarter points, the KIPP Renaissance offense picked up 20 points in the second quarter. Thomas Jefferson wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 9 to make it 20-9 heading into the break. The other side of the ball was dominant for KIPP Renaissance in the second half, holding Thomas Jefferson to a measly 6 points.
Next week KIPP Renaissance take on Wright at 3:30 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: those two teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. As for Thomas Jefferson, they will face off against Archbishop Hannan. Archbishop Hannan are cruising in on a six-game winning streak.
