Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Evan Brown stepped things up a notch to give Nooksack Valley the 'W'. Brown turned in nothing short of a gem, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
