Desert Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They really took it to Sequoia Pathway Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-8 win at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Desert Christian has managed all season.
Anika Mulkey was her usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Addison Jones, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals.
The Gregory School has not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They secured a 29-23 W over Cicero Prep Academy on Thursday.
Desert Christian is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for The Gregory School, their victory bumped their record up to 7-13.
Everything came up roses for Desert Christian against The Gregory School in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 49-5 victory. Will Desert Christian repeat their success, or does The Gregory School have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
