The Jamestown Muskies couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by Saegertown 64-27 on Wednesday. Jamestown lost against Saegertown in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 59-49 score last time.
Defeat or not, Jamestown got some senior leadership from Andrew Gould who scored 9 points and Gage Planavsky who scored 9 points.
Jamestown's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Saegertown, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Jamestown will look to defend their home court on Friday against General McLane at 7:15 p.m. General McLane has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 204 points over their last three matches. As for Saegertown, they will head out on the road to face off against Rocky Grove at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
