The Concord Spiders suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Tuesday. They suffered a tough 73-52 defeat at the hands of East Rowan. Concord has not had much luck with East Rowan recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Concord's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaylin Williams, who scored 15 points along with two steals. Myajah Nix was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three blocks.
Concord has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for East Rowan, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
Concord will be playing at home against Carson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Carson comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for East Rowan, they will head out on the road to take on Central Cabarrus at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
