St. Bonaventure got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dylan Benner out in front who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Donald Clark iv was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
St. Bonaventure's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.8 points per game. As for Santa Clara, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.
St. Bonaventure will head out on the road to face off against Dunn at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Santa Clara, they will be playing at home against Cate at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
