Corona del Sol extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 18-5 in the process. Everything went their way against the Desert Vista Thunder as they made off with a 10-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Aztecs, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

As for Desert Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 16-9. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this match were averaging 4.04 runs allowed.

For Desert Vista's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex McKee, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Corona del Sol will square off against Basha at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Bears will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Aztecs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Desert Vista, they will face off against O'Connor at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
