The Denver South Ravens will head out on the road to face off against the Rangeview Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
On Friday, Denver South didn't have quite enough to beat Vista PEAK Prep and fell 3-2. The Ravens have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Denver South sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 24-26, 25-16, 21-25, 15-11.
Meanwhile, Rangeview entered their tilt with DSST: College View on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Wolves.
Rangeview had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 26-28, 19-25, 25-20, 25-23, 15-12.
Denver South better keep an eye on Anthony Tampubolon. He was instrumental in Rangeview's win, getting ten digs. Jason Quach also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.
Rangeview was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in February.
Denver South's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Rangeview, their record is now 8-5.
Denver South suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Rangeview in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Ravens avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
