The Round Top-Carmine Cubs will be playing at home against the Richards Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Round Top-Carmine had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They breezed by Buckholts at home to the tune of 58-31. With Round Top-Carmine ahead 36-16 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Richards ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They managed a 49-43 win over McDade. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Richards.
Round Top-Carmine has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Richards, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Round Top-Carmine didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Richards in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 41-35 victory.
