Holy Spirit is 3-0 against Kingsway since October of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Holy Spirit Spartans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Kingsway Dragons at 6:00 p.m. Kingsway took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Holy Spirit, who comes in off a win.
Two weeks ago, everything went Holy Spirit's way against Vineland as Holy Spirit made off with a 32-6 victory. The result was nothing new for Holy Spirit, who have now won four contests by 24 points or more so far this season.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 34 points the game before, Kingsway were a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 34-7 loss at the hands of Cherokee. It was the first time this season that Kingsway let down their fans at home.
Despite the defeat, Kingsway got a solid performance out of Benny Liles III, who picked up 107 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Holy Spirit has been no stranger to the win column this season, as they've started out with wins in six of their first seven games, giving them a 6-1 record. As for Kingsway, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
Holy Spirit didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Kingsway in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, but they still walked away with a 31-27 victory.
