LaCrosse can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 93-23 victory over Chase on the road. LaCrosse's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
LaCrosse's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Caden Morgan, who scored 16 points along with seven assists and four steals, and Lee Holopirek, who went 8 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points and 1 assist. Morgan has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Christian Rush, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Even though Central Plains has not done well against Ellinwood recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Central Plains snuck past Ellinwood with a 40-35 win.
LaCrosse is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. As for Central Plains, their win bumped their record up to 11-3-1.
