The Celeste Blue Devils are taking a road trip to face off against the Campbell Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Celeste has seven straight victories, Campbell has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Celeste's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Cooper 9-0. Considering the Blue Devils have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Jada Garcia made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Celeste kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Campbell fell victim to Saltillo and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 11-0 to the Lions.
Campbell saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Richardson, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.
Celeste's record is now 14-4-1. As for Campbell, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.
Campbell's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Celeste hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .431. It's a different story for Campbell, though, as they've only averaged .188. Will they be able to contain Celeste's hitters?
Celeste got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Campbell by a conclusive 26-0 score. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
