The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans lost against the Columbia Blue Devils back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake suffered a  tough 65-41 defeat at the hands of Columbia. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake has struggled against Columbia recently, as their  contest on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
 Several Spartans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Teagan Keane, who  scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was  Mackenzie Cahan, who  scored nine points.
 Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake now  has a losing record at 2-3. As for Columbia,  the  win  makes it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 3-2.
 Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake will be home for the holidays to greet  Ballston Spa at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in New York (Ballston Spa is ranked 88th, while Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake is ranked 108th). As for Columbia, they will head out on the road to face off against Schenectady at 6:15  p.m.  on Friday.
