The Trinity Chargers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 55-45 to Fellowship Academy. Trinity was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played on January 6th.
William Hornbuckle had an outrageously good game for Fellowship Academy as he scored 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Hornburg, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Trinity's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Fellowship Academy, their win ended a 14-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-21.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity will challenge the at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Varsity Opponent's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. As for Fellowship Academy, they will head out on the road to take on the Patriots at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
