The Conway Christian Eagles lost against the Southeastern Christian Academy Warriors back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Conway Christian had to suffer through a rough 75-28 loss at the hands of Southeastern Christian Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Conway Christian has scored all season.
Conway Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Will Kunkle, who scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Brailin Barnhill, who scored seven points.
Southeastern Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Uzziah Marlowe, who scored 18 points along with four steals. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Grady Price, who scored 13 points.
Conway Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Southeastern Christian Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Dillon Christian the next time they take the court. Southeastern Christian Academy will head out to face Dillon Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Conway Christian will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on January 16th.
