Carson had to endure  an  eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Lassen Grizzlies on Saturday as the Carson Senators made off with  a  7-1 win.  On Lassen's side,  Lexy Yoshida-Snyder spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and four unearned) runs on 12 hits.
 On the hitting side, Lassen saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Kenzie De La Cruz, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Carson's victory bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Lassen, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10-1 record  this season.
 Carson will be staying on the road  on Saturday to face off against West Valley at 1:00  p.m. Carson has given up an average of 8.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Lassen, they will stay at home for another  game and welcome Fernley at 4:20  p.m.  on Saturday. Fernley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7  runs per game  this season.
