The Hurricanes came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 6-1. The Hurricanes haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Jacob James spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up nine Ks.
On the hitting side, Mount Dora's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Crow, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles.
Bishop Moore's record now sits at 19-7. As for Mount Dora, their record is now 18-7.
Mount Dora's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bishop Moore hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .331. It's a different story for Mount Dora, though, as they've only averaged .255. Will they be able to contain Bishop Moore's hitters?
