It was a good run, but the West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] Cougars finally witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak. It was close but no cigar for West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] as they fell 57-54 to the Seymour Indians on Tuesday. That makes it the first time this season the Cougars have let down their home crowd.
The loss dropped West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs]'s record to 25-2. Seymour's win brought them up to an identical 25-2.
West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] will square off against North Greene Friday. West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings. Seymour is staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Macomb. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Seymour has to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps rankings on their side for this one.
