Volleyball Recap: Troy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Troy entered their tilt with Lexington on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

Skylar Workman paced Troy's offense, picking up nine kills. Workman got some help from Peyton Sierra and her ten assists. Sierra also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Shae Collier, racking up two apiece.

Troy's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Lexington, they moved to 8-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Troy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Burnet on the 23rd. As for Lexington, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Gatesville on the 23rd.
