Twentynine Palms lost to Yucca Valley on Monday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Trojans. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

Jenica Silvas made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Silvas was even better at the plate, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and one double. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 runs per game.

In other batting news, Jada Lampkin was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Mariah Coriaarmenta, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Twentynine Palms kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

With the victory, Twentynine Palms broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-6. As for Yucca Valley, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-8-1.

Twentynine Palms didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Coachella Valley on the 28th. As for Yucca Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 15-5 defeat against Indio on the 28th.
