Logan Dent Delivers Electric Performance Vs West Washington
Starting off the list is Salem's Logan Dent, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Dent rushed for 164 yards and three touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 131 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Dent must have West Washington's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Dent saw the Senators), he rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.

Lawyer Made His Presence Known in Corydon Central's 35-34 Loss
While Carson Lawyer delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Corydon Central. Lawyer was unstoppable, rushing for 179 yards while picking up 8.5 yards per carry, and also picking up 58 receiving yards. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 61 yards.
Lawyer is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against North Harrison on Friday. Lawyer rushed for 257 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 30 receiving yards the last time he and the Cougars duked it out back in September.

Scottsburg had to settle for second on Friday, but Garrett Boling sure wasn't going down easily. Brownstown Central had no answer to Boling as he picked up 49 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Scottsburg moved to 6-3 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak. They and Owen Valley are set to duel on Friday.

Christian Grayson Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Charlestown got the W thanks in part to Christian Grayson playing the best football he has all season. Grayson threw for 106 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Charlestown moved to 2-7 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak. Grayson and Charlestown will head out on the road to face off against Martinsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
