The Quartz Hill Royals scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Palmdale 76-31 at home. Given Quartz Hill's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 412th, while the Falcons are ranked 1115th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Jaidyn Norman, who scored 20 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Joshua Schneider, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 14 rebounds.
Palmdale's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jamari Owens, who scored 11 points, and Anthony Delouth who scored ten points.
The win makes it two in a row for Quartz Hill and bumps their season record up to 12-10. As for Palmdale, their loss dropped their record down to 3-19.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Quartz Hill will square off against the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Palmdale, they will head out on the road to face off against the Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Knight will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
