On Thursday, Blanco had just enough and edged Coleman out 40-38.
Blanco was led to victory by Candice Lopez and Isabella Mitchell. Lopez scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals, while Mitchell scored 21 points. Lopez is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Silva, who scored 3 points along with 5 rebounds.
Blanco has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season. As for Coleman, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Blanco will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Cooper at 10:30 a.m. on December 8th. As for Coleman, they will take on Llano at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
