You can't lose the contest if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Dixie's strategy against Cedar on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Dixie blew Cedar out of the water with a 86-51 final score. Given Dixie's advantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while Cedar is ranked 85th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Crimson Cliffs aren't just finding sucess at home, as their game on Friday extended their overall winning streak to four. They pulled ahead with a 65-64 photo finish over Pine View. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was McKay Lindquist, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Dixie's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Crimson Cliffs, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.
