The Lost River Raiders lost against the Tulelake Honkers back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Lost River fell just short of Tulelake by a score of 29-26. Lost River has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Tulelake got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kayla Frey out in front who scored 4 points along with 8 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Josefina Mojica, who scored 9 points along with 4 steals.
Lost River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tulelake, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Lost River will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Myrtle Point at 3:00 p.m. Tulelake will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Trinity at 5:00 p.m. on December 7th. Trinity's defense has only allowed 22.2 points per game this season, so Tulelake's offense will have their work cut out for Tulelake.
