The El Dorado Wildcats will be home for the holidays to greet the Wellington Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. El Dorado is out to stop a 11-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season.
Last Tuesday, El Dorado was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 55-50 to Clearwater.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Logan Garner, who scored 16 points. He scored a full 32% of El Dorado's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Dillon Scott, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Wellington's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell to Rose Hill 50-45.
El Dorado's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Wellington, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
El Dorado ended up a good deal behind Wellington in their previous matchup back in February, losing 59-44. Can El Dorado avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
