The Linn Wildcats lost against the Blair Oaks Falcons back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Linn took a 49-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Blair Oaks. Linn has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Paige Senevey, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Senevey grabbed two or more steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Vivien Baker, who scored four points along with 11 rebounds and two steals.
Linn has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Blair Oaks, their victory bumped their record up to 1-14.
Linn on the road again on Wednesday and play against Marshall at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. Marshall will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 406th, while Linn is ranked 184th). As for Blair Oaks, they will head out on the road to square off against Linn at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
