Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sheridan). They came out on top against the Jefferson Saints by a score of 61-50 on Monday. This was payback for the Rams, who suffered an 84-44 loss the last time these two teams met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sheridan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bobby Garcia, who went 8 for 17 en route to 25 points and six steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Garcia has scored at least a third of Sheridan's points. Another player making a difference was Gabriel Hernandez, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds.

Sheridan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in nine consecutive contests.

Sheridan's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Jefferson, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Sheridan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 71-34 defeat against Arrupe Jesuit on the 16th. Jefferson has also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Bennett on the 16th.
