Genoa Christian Academy's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Leah Kinley, who scored 9 points along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds. Avery Norman was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with 6 rebounds.
Genoa Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Danville, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
