Genoa Christian Academy's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Leah Kinley, who scored 9 points along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds. Avery Norman was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with 6 rebounds.
Genoa Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Danville, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Genoa Christian Academy will take on Licking Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Danville, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Hayes at 7:30 p.m.
