AA District 15 recap Oct. 30, 2012
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Kingsbury, who took down 230th ranked Kingsbury, 18-7.
Trezevant took down Frayser 54-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jordan Spencer threw for 145 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 26 yards in the win.
Jordan Pegues provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Manassas lost to Raleigh-Egypt. He completed seven passes for 142 yards and one touchdown and also ran for 55 yards. Pegues' favorite target this week was Dwayne Clark, who caught two passes for 65 yards.
Walter Brady made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Bears beat the Rams. The 6-foot-3 defensive end forced one fumble and grabbed one sack.
Jamal Jones was the most productive running back in AA District 15 this week. In 14 carries, he ran for 81 yards as Trezevant lost to the Pharaohs.
Thanks to the talents of Pegues and Melvin Bond Manassas has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Pegues leads the league in passing with 772 yards, while Bond has rushed for 1180 yards this season. The Falcons' Derrick Hankins leads the league in receiving yards with 322 on 25 catches.
Teli White's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 54 points on Frayser. Spencer in the win.
