Javarion Brown Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Huss was led to victory by Javarion Brown, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Brown rushed for 208 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and also threw for 237 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (108.2). He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.
Huss now has a winning record of 3-2. Brown and Huss will square off against North Gaston at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Chanyce Ford put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He made seven total tackles. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 53 yards.

Blee Came Up Big in South Point's 28-21 Victory
South Point picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Patrick Blee. Kings Mountain had no answer to Blee as he rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 73 yards and a touchdown.
Blee is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Ashbrook on Thursday. Blee rushed for 127 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries the last time he and the Greenwave duked it out back in October of 2023.
