Two dominant backs in Ryan Jimenez and Brenner Green are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Arcadia Titans will square off against the Snowflake Lobos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are still undefeated after nine games, but that won't be the case come Friday.
On Friday, Arcadia got the win against Eastmark by a conclusive 38-13. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.
The critical scores for Arcadia came from Ian Slater, Jimenez, Joseph Hala, Konnor Kammes, and Nicholas McCormick.
Arcadia was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 201 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in three consecutive contests.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Arcadia's defense and their six sacks. Greyson Stauff was especially locked on to Eastmark's QB and sacked him twice. Arcadia got some further help from Jaxon Krohn: he picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made ten total tackles.
Meanwhile, Snowflake was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Mesquite 41-13. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Lobos' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona football rankings (they are ranked 29th, while the Wildcats are ranked 98th).
Arcadia better keep an eye on Jacob LaDuke. He was instrumental in Snowflake's win, rushing for 95 yards and two TDs on only nine carries, while also throwing for 152 yards and one touchdown on only 14 passes. That's the most rushing yards LaDuke has posted since back in September of 2024.
Arcadia's record now sits at 9-0. As for Snowflake, their record is now an identical 9-0.
Arcadia ended up a good deal behind Snowflake when the teams last played back in November of 2022, losing 19-0. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
