On Saturday, Concord Christian came up short against Boyd-Buchanan  and fell  66-54. Concord Christian has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 When it comes to explaining why Concord Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Drew Sloan. Despite the final result, he  dropped  a double-double on 14 points and 11  rebounds. The  game was  Sloan's seventh in a row with at least ten points.  Dominic Alford was another key contributor,  scoring 10 points along with 5  assists.
 Concord Christian has  been struggling recently, as they've  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Boyd-Buchanan, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
 Concord Christian will head out on the road to face off against Grace Christian Academy at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday. Grace Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Boyd-Buchanan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Howard Tech at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
