Meanwhile, Elkins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Lewis County, falling 9-1. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Elkins' loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for East Fairmont, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.
